Freelance Human Being – Issue TBD

Faith: The Final Frontier series opens with David asking God to speak, and to task him in such a way that if God does not come through, David is sunk.  The next episodes show that the hear-and-obey pattern, with timely divine deliverance, has become a lifestyle.  The elements of Leslie’s series introduction, Trusting God’s Invisible Hand, show themselves piece by piece as each episode is revealed.

Freelance Human Being is a turning point in David and Leslie’s life of faith, obedience and sacrifice.  The prophetic ‘problematic premonition’ of Command Communiation has manifested.  David obeyed God’s directive to not apply for early retirement and finds himself out of the Navy, short of the standard retirement.

Leslie’s life is unaltered, so long as the bills are paid and food is on the table.

The reader should be able to survive the empathetic angst they will share with our heroes as they face their fears and flaws throughout their faith challenges.  This story sets the foundation of the pattern of divine guidance and deliverance in the Episodes to come.  What will stand out to the reader is that which Leslie described in Trusting in God’s Invisible Hand, “…God is trustworthy … all the time.”
