About the Authors

Leslie Young Carmichael  – Wife of David Alan Carmichael – is a Christian mother, youth minister, homeschool educator, athletics coach, effective teacher and talented speaker.  Leslie was the prime mover in the effective education and Christian discipleship of her four children who are now, with their spouses, engaged in Christian evangelism and discipleship ministries in full time or part time capacities.

David Alan Carmichael – husband of Leslie Young Carmichael  – is a Navy veteran, faith-based memoirist, and founder of Educational Christian Ministries, where he has spent years combining evangelism with free job-skill training to equip people spiritually and practically. His ministry work has included discipleship programs, youth and young-adult mentoring, and motivational and educational talk-radio broadcasting designed to encourage believers to live out their faith with clarity and courage. David’s work in constitutional and religious-liberty advocacy places him in several high-profile legal and administrative disputes, making him a controversial figure in some circles and a principled voice in others.
